Call for Nominations: Best Dam Operator Award 2025
The MYCOLD Best Dam Operator Award is a reward given to the best operator in recognition of their efforts in maintaining and safeguarding the dam and communities around it. MYCOLD honours those organisations making exemplary contributions to the improvement of dam safety in Malaysia through its awards program. This award recognises state-of-the-art in dam safety and exemplifies the professional engineering and standards that dam safety requires through comprehensive dam safety programs, dam maintenance, and dam safety towards the community, adhering tothe Malaysian Dam Safety Management Guideline (MyDAMS)
The award highlights achievements in the following three categories:
Eligibility & Participation
- Open to all large dam operators in Malaysia
- The nominees will be evaluated based on the information submitted to the committee for the three key areas.
- Information to support can be in the form of digital or hard copies
- The participant will be judged on the positive effects of the dam safety program towards the surrounding communities; comprehensiveness of the Dam Safety Program; effectiveness of dam maintenance, with evidence on the current condition of the dam.
We are now calling for nominations for the 2025 edition! If your organisation—or one you know—has demonstrated exemplary performance in any of these areas, we encourage you to submit a nomination and be recognised for your impact.
